mightyTIMER WiFi Duo is best deployed in standalone small, medium or large scale outdoor lighting applications. It can be programmed for zone based lighting control. Please go through the following examples for understanding concept of energy efficiency and energy saving using mightyTIMER WiFi Duo product.

  At the stroke of sunset, using auto-detect, astronomical time scheduling of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo, 20 lighting poles can be turned on to provide light in case of fading light

  After one hour at the time when full darkness has come into effect – all 40 lighting poles can be turned on.

 These lights remain on till 1 AM in morning

 Again after 1 AM – 20 lights can be turned off.

 Lastly, all lights can be turned off at sunrise using offset and astronomical time scheduling of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo.

In this way energy savings can be achieved in outdoor lighting automation using mightyTIMER WiFi Duo.

 Before sunset, using offset - aircraft warning lights, staircase safety lights and ground level parking lights can be turned on.

 At the stroke of sunset, using auto-detect, astronomical time scheduling of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo, staircase ambience lights and peripheral ambience lights can be turned ON.

 These lights go on till 12 Midnight after which crowd density becomes low.

 After 12 Midnight, all Ambience lights – ground level & staircase ambience lights can be turned OFF.

  Lastly, aircraft warning lights, staircase safety lights and ground level parking lights can be turned off at sunrise using offset and astronomical time scheduling of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo.

In this way energy savings can be achieved in building lighting automation using mightyTIMER WiFi Duo.

 50% of each lighting zone as mentioned above are wired into 1st channel of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo and the remaining lights are wired into 2nd channel of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo.

 For enhancing efficiency of lights installed in the basement parking:

  • Every 4 hours, each part of lighting zone can be turned OFF for 1 hour.
  • At the times of high crowd density such as timings like: 8-10 AM, 12-2PM, 4-10 PM, scheduling of full lighting can be maintained for safety purposes.
  • Any energy saved during lights are turned OFF can help in conserving energy and functional life of lights.
In this way energy savings can be achieved in residential basement parking lighting automation using mightyTIMER WiFi Duo.

  mightyTIMER WiFi Duo is installed in streetlights

  After 2-step network configuration of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo, it is conifigurable and controllable in the whole local network of the plant premises.

  Supervisor or Manager can monitor all mightyTIMER WiFi Duos in single App and can configure or control streetlights using mightyTIMER WiFi Duo App very easily, right from his office.

  Streetlights are configured with mightyTIMER WiFi Duo's astronomical time schedule mode - For Example: Lights turn ON after 12 minutes (offset) of sunset and Lights turn OFF before 15 minutes (offset) of sunrise.

  Once configured, mightyTIMER WiFi Duo works standalone as per schedule.

Features in use:

  Energy Saving: There are total 500 streetlights, about 250 street lights are connected in 1st relay of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo(s) and the remaining 250 are connected in the 2nd relay.

  The 2nd relay lights turn OFF at 1 AM (Midnight) to save energy and turn ON back at 5 AM (Morning) when new shift starts. (On alternate days, 1st relay lights are scheduled, vice verse to balance switching time of both lighting zones.)

  Remote Monitoring & Analytics: Plant authorities can monitor lighting through mightyTIMER WiFi Duo's remote monitoring and see event history in Analytics.

  Fault Detection: Connecting a current sensor or energy meter, they can monitor current / energy analytics. They are able to detect faults by setting threshold of energy parameters or current rating in mightyTIMER WiFi Duo App.

  Human Safety: As mightyTIMER WiFi Duo can be configured or controlled through Smartphone thus, engineer is not required to touch mightyTIMER WiFi Duo installed in Live wiring which is a potential short circuiting hazard during rainy season. This case occurs usually to turn ON lights during rainy season due to dark clouds.

  Automatic Manual to Auto Mode Changeover: When lights are required to turn ON/OFF manually, engineers can do so using manual switch connected to mightyTIMER WiFi Duo or from App. In this case, mightyTIMER WiFi Duo will switch to schedule based functioning (Auto Mode) after 1 schedule ends, automatically.

  mightyTIMER WiFi Duo can be used in Impulse Mode to schedule and control a Siren Bell.

  After installing mightyTIMER WiFi Duo with Siren Bell, configure the mightyTIMER WiFi Duo for Impulse Mode through mightyTIMER WiFi Duo App.

  For example; We require Siren Bell to ring at 1 PM and 7 PM to notify shift changes and the bell rings for a duration of 15 seconds then the maintenance team can setup same schedule in mightyTIMER WiFi Duo App in Impulse Mode.

  When schedule is active, mightyTIMER WiFi Duo will generate a continuous pulse for 15 seconds to ring the Siren Bell.

  Once configured, mightyTIMER WiFi Duo works standalone as per schedule. Only For changing configuration or monitoring analytics of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo, person is required to come in hotspot range of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo.

  Energy Saving using alternate switching concept of lights by dividing loads in 2 channels of mightyTIMER WiFi Duo

  Human Safety: As mightyTIMER WiFi Duo can be configured or controlled through Smartphone thus, engineer is not required to touch mightyTIMER WiFi Duo installed in Live wiring which is a potential short circuiting hazard during rainy season.
